University High School is located on a historic 24-acre site in West Los Angeles. The campus is built atop a fresh water spring that was used for centuries by the Gabrieleno Tongva people, and a portion of the campus is a dedicated California State Historical Site.
“Uni” has a rich tradition of excellence, and their strength lies in the school’s diverse student population. Uni students were born all over the world, and speak over 40 different languages. EMA recently planted a garden for Uni with the LA Conservation Corps. The garden will become an outdoor classroom environment with bench seating for the students.
