Pureology has just launched the first ever Green Seal-certified beauty product, Precious Oil. The oil helps soothe color-treated hair and contains 100% biodegradable ingredients in a paraban and silicone free formula, which helped earn it the prestigious Green Seal™ certification.
Precious Oil’s key natural ingredients include sunflower, coconut, olive and jojoba oils. According to Wendy Belanger, Pureology Global Artistic Director and owner of Influence Salon in Calgary, Canada, because of the wide spectrum of oils there’s literally something for everyone: “Sunflower seed oil is great for softness and color protection, coconut oil helps with elasticity, olive oil gives shine, and jojoba oil imparts moisture.”
And to top off all the eco-goodness, Precious Oil’s packaging is recyclable.
